With their extraordinary debut album, the American band "Fleet Foxes" drift from rock to folk through..."hidden pathways". Their multifaceted musical quests and their polyphony, are rightfully portrayed on the cover of Bruegel, which gives us an exact idea of what the musical journey we will witness for the next sixty minutes is going to be about. Enchanting melodies, guitars, flute and a metaphysical charm orienting mainly from the vocals, are traveling us to the shadowy musical forest of the Fleet Foxes. The invitation to transcend into their world remains pleasant even after daily repetition. The album has "conquered with its sword" a spot amongst the best productions of the last two years, hence it constantly appears to hold the top position on our tall piles of CD's. Looking forward to listen to their next album.
