Athens HiEnd AV Show 2009
3/11/2009
The Athens HiEnd AV Show 2009 took place in the now-familiar Classical Athens Imperial hotel, in the centre of Athens, on 30-31 of October and 1st of November. The event proved to be one of the most interesting exhibitions of recent years, as we noticed many new arrivals, both of companys and products. Also noticeable was a vertical climb on the price ofthe exhibited items, thus giving us the chance to "dream" in a period of recession.
Combine all of the above with the special events -together with the presence of famous designers- organised specially for the visitors and you get an exhibition full of vivid pulse, a fact bringing hope for our "community". If only there were more "newcomers" in shows such as this one, we would be completely satisfied. Also important, in our opinion, is the fact that main part of the visitors were people -of both sexes- looking for "vessels" of sound, to upgrade their musical pleasure.
Finally, the pleasant mood of the exhibitors contributed a lot, on its behalf, in achieving this vivid pulse we mentioned earlier.
Best wishes for success next year!
This event is still being updated.

EPOS ELS 8
A true bargain under 300 euros(!). Τhis British “little one” comes challengingly priced, offering great-sounding evenings.

YBA DESIGN DAC
The products by YBA always had a special personality, both acoustic and aesthetic. So now even those with more modest budgets can purchase one of their products without spending a fortune. We are talking about the new YBA converter with the code-name WD-202, which is quite reasonably priced.
